7-Vehicle Chain-Reaction Crash Sends 5 To Hospital On Route 9 In Hudson Valley Five people were taken to the hospital after a seven-vehicle chain-reaction crash on a busy Westchester County roadway, police said.  The crash happened on Broadway (Route 9) near Cedar Street in Dobbs Ferry at around 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, according to Dobbs Ferry Police.  The department said a 2021 Honda SUV was traveling north on Broadway toward Cedar Street when its driver failed to stop for traffic and rear-ended a 2004 Honda SUV stopped north of Clinton Avenue, police said.
