John Anderson, of Hauppauge, was traveling northbound on Hawkins Avenue in Lake Ronkonkoma in a 2003 Mitsubishi truck, the Suffolk County Police Department said. Suddenly, around 7:30 a.m. Friday, Anderson’s vehicle left the road and hit a tree in front of 299 Hawkins Avenue, police said.
