The assault happened at the McDonald's at 1420 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont at 6:34 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, according to Nassau County Police. Investigators said a man began acting erratically inside the restaurant before getting into a physical altercation with an 18-year-old man.
