Two young men killed when their sports car crashed into a tree after fleeing an officer at speeds topping 100 mph in Westchester County had stolen loaded handguns and were wearing face coverings, police said.
Yonkers resident Ryan Herrera, 20, and Bronx resident Jadden D. Sanabria, 21, died following the crash on Route 9A in Mount Pleasant early Friday, Aug. 14, Mount Pleasant Police confirmed in an announcement on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Herrera was driving the red Toyota Supra, while Sanabria was the passenger, according to police.
