A bevy of laid off Netflix workers are airing their grievances on Twitter, and the world is watching. The layoffs come from the company's newly-launched fan site Tudum, Deadline reports. More than 700 employees of People's United Bank's Connecticut locations are set to be laid off. The Connecticut Department of Labor reported that between Oct. 1 of 2021 and May 20, 2022, 747 employees will be laid off. The news comes after the company announced a merger with M&T Bank Corporation. Nursing Home Lays Off Entire Staff
A longterm care facility is laying off its entire staff by the end of November. More than 100 employees are being laid off from long-term rehabilitation facility and nurinsg home Mount Saint Vincent Care Center in Holyoke. On Friday, Sept. 18, Mount Saint Vincent officials notified the state that by mid-November it will have laid off 106 employees. The 125-bed health care facility has been purchased by iCare Health Network, which plans to rehire some current employees, according to MassLive. The facility had previously been owned by Trinity Health of New England.
