Beloved Seaside Heights Bartender Dies: Remembering Jimmy Hughes
James "Jimmy" Hughes, a bartender at Klee's Bar and Grill in Seaside Heights died on Thursday, Oct. 2, the restaurant announced.
Hughes died surrounded by his family, the restaurant said.
"Jimmy was a valued server and bartender at both Klee’s and Henry’s over the past few years, and he brought warmth, kindness, and laughter to so many," the restaurant said. "This sudden loss has deeply affected our entire Klee’s and Henry’s family. We will miss him dearly."
Henry's at Klee's was closed Thursday and Friday, Oct. 3 to give staff time to grieve, though Klee's remains open.

A New Jersey community is mourning the loss of a father, coach, and mentor who died just days after a sudden cancer diagnosis.
Christopher (Chris) Woolis, 47, of Elmwood Park, was diagnosed with cancer on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and passed away only seven days later, on Tuesday, Sept. 16, according to Elmwood Park Little League President Steven Kochlick.
