Dozens of vehicles were impounded and nearly 300 tickets were issued during a crackdown on ghost plates and toll evasion on the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, police said.
The enforcement detail was conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 22, as part of New York State Police Troop T's ongoing effort to target drivers using missing, altered, or obscured license plates to avoid tolls and traffic cameras, State Police announced on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Bergen County Building Sells For $1.7M, Bringing New Business From Nearby Town
A mixed-use building in Bergen County has sold for $1.7 million to a fire protection company relocating from a nearby town, a commercial real estate firm announced.
DMJ Fire Protection Plus, which is relocating from Little Ferry, purchased the 12,000-square-foot building at 210 South Washington Ave., in Bergenfield, from Millan Properties, LLC, NAI James E. Hanson announced Wednesday, Sept. 23. NAI Hanson Vice President Anthony Cassano represented the seller in the transaction.

Dolly Parton Estate Family Feud Puts Nephew Who Announced Her Death In Spotlight
A decision inside Dolly Parton’s inner circle is fueling a highly public dispute.
Bryan Seaver, Parton’s nephew and longtime head of security, said he and his companies were removed from all of her properties through a termination notice dated Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Seaver, the son of Parton’s sister Cassie, announced the country icon’s death at age 80 in an Instagram video Tuesday, Aug. 25.
The termination notice ended the security arrangement for Parton’s Nashville home, museum, warehouse, and downtown residence, according to People. New security personnel replaced Seaver’s team.
