A teen’s wallet containing identification, bank cards, and cash was stolen from a Taco Bell on Long Island, police announced on Saturday, Sept. 5. The 16-year-old girl was inside the Taco Bell at 3076 Long Beach Road around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, when she put her wallet on the counter, according to Nassau County Police Fourth Squad detectives. A plane that crashed in Western Massachusetts, killing two people and sparking an hours-long overnight search, was part of the fleet of a flight school and rental service, Daily Voice has learned. Seven motorists were arrested after hundreds of vehicles passed through an overnight sobriety checkpoint on Long Island during the holiday weekend, police announced Saturday, Sept. 5.
