2-Year Project Begins At Northern Westchester Traffic Circle: Delays Expected As a result of flooding and safety concerns, a busy traffic circle in Northern Westchester will undergo a two-year renovation project that will likely cause delays for motorists.  The reconstruction project began on Monday, July 8 at the Annsville Circle in the Town of Cortlandt, officials announced.  According to the town, the project was planned by the New York State Department of Transportation because of the circle's recurrent flooding. Fourth Of July Crackdown: Extra DUI Patrols To Monitor NY Roads Over Holiday Weekend Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that extra patrols will be on the lookout for drunk and drugged drivers over the Fourth of July weekend. Starting on Wednesday, July 3 at 6 p.m. and lasting through midnight on Sunday, July 7, New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies will increase patrols on highways across the state.
