Man Shot, Killed In Camden: Prosecutor A man was shot and killed in Camden, authorities announced Monday, Aug. 3. At 9:50 p.m., on Friday, July 31, Camden police responded to the 100 block of North 24th Street and found Edgar Velasco-Hernandez with a gunshot wound, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said.  He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon after, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
