A 43-year-old Glen Gardner man was arrested and charged after he intentionally struck a pedestrian in Hunterdon County on Labor Day, authorities said. On Monday, Sept. 7, troopers responded to Main Street in Glen Gardner Borough after Andrew Brown got into a verbal altercation with a pedestrian while parked in a Chevrolet pickup truck, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police said. Ray LaMontagne, 53, was performing at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, Sept. 5, when he fell backward while singing his 2004 song "Jolene." A 30-year-old New Jersey man was found dead along the Delaware River in Pennsylvania over the weekend, authorities announced on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Jayson Bernardo, of Phillipsburg, was discovered on the riverbank at Delaware Canal State Park in the 200 block of South Delaware Drive in Easton around 6:40 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, according to Easton police and Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek.
