Motorcyclist Killed In Crash ID'd As 69-Year-Old CT Man
Authorities have identified a motorcyclist killed in a weekend crash as a 69-year-old Connecticut man.
Mark Floryan, of Tariffville, was involved in the crash at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday, July 26, on Route 189 near the intersection of Peck Orchard Road in Granby, police said Tuesday.
Responders found Floryan seriously injured after the two-vehicle crash, and crews airlifted him to Hartford Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The other driver involved in the crash, a 50-year-old man, was not injured and remained at the scene to speak with police, authorities said.

A Connecticut teacher who died earlier this month is being remembered for her compassion in the classroom and for being the family's "glue that held everyone together." Now, the community is coming together to repay her years of kindness.
Renee Kosobiecki McIntyre, 55, of North Branford, died at her home on July 14, according to her obituary. She leaves behind her husband Scott McIntyre, her children, Carlie and Cameron McIntyre, as well as her mother, sister, extended family, friends, students, and colleagues.
